SCHOOL SONG
Over the coming weeks and months you will hear our pupils singing these special words. The original song is from the show “Fan Hyn”. Our thanks to Guto Dafydd for adapting the work of Gruffudd Parry. The lyrics encapsulate the sense of belonging that is so core to us here at the school.
MARIAN Y MÔR
Mae’r angor yn gadarn ger ffynnon a ffair, A’r strydoedd yn straeon sy’n newydd bob gair, Mae amser yn pasio ond aros o hyd Wnaiff hud Glan y Môr ynon ninnau i gyd. I gymeriadau’r wlad a’r dre Mae lle i bawb drwy’i gilydd; Bydd miri tir a daear Llŷn Yn tyfu’n gryfach beunydd. Marian y môr ar erchwyn y lli – Hwn ydi tir ein cynefin ni. Enlli yw’r hafan ar ddiwedd pob taith, Mae Gwylan yn gwarchod ein penrhyn a’n hiaith, Mae Tudwal yn clymu’n cymuned ynghyd – Mi fyddwn ni’n perthyn yn fama o hyd. O Drwyn y Garreg i Ben Garn Clywch sŵn ein barn a’n stori; Fe aiff y byd i gyd yn ddall Cyn pallo haul Pwllheli. Marian y môr ar erchwyn y lli – Hwn ydi tir ein cynefin ni.
