Physical Education Department

The pupils have been taking part in Rugby, basketball, football, and hockey tournaments as well as athletics competition on a South Gwynedd level and County level. We congratulate everyone who participated, especially Mia Roberts that has been selected to Eryri’s under 17 athletics team. Mia will be competing in the 1500m in Wales final rounds next month.

We wish well to Nansi Ioi Roberts who will be representing the Wales under 16 Hockey team away in Belfast this month.

We are also proud of Effi Lois Jones that has been selected as a member of the North Wales under 13 Hockey team- well done.

During the month, Hari Annwyl Roberts represented Wales in the under 15 football team in Croatia. Hari played in every one of the four games against Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Ireland.

Music Department

The department has been busy practicing for the National Eisteddfod that’s being held in Denbighshire this year. We wish the pupils that are representing the school the very best of luck. If you have not heard the cerdd dant parties at the Eisteddfod, you will be able to hear them at the proclamation concert of the Llyn and Eifionydd National Eisteddfod held at Neuadd Dwyfor.

Art Department

Congratulations to Dewi Griffith on coming first in the “comic page with characters” competition for pupils in years 7,8, and 9 in the Art Design and Technology Eisteddfod in the Eryri area. Well done you.

Proclomation Festival For The Llyn Ac Eifionydd National Eisteddfod

The school’s pupils have been busy preparing a video clip to welcome everyone to the Proclamation Festival. We are looking forward to see what the pupils have created, keep an eye out for them!
