Success In The Field Of Sport

Congratulations to the sisters Nansi and Daloni Roberts on their hockey success.

Nansi Ioi Roberts has been chosen to Wales under 16 Hockey team. Nansi will receive her first caps for Wales in Spring against Scotland and away to France.

Daloni Ioi Roberts (14) and Nansi Ioi Roberts (15) have been selected for the North Wales under 16 Hockey team. Well done girls.

Workshop With Gruff

On thursday, 20th of january, year 7 pupils from the school had the opportunity to take part in a virtual workshop with a former pupil from the school, gruffudd eifion owen.

Their task that morning was to create a parody poem on the theme “my local area”.  By the end of the workshop, the pupils had parody poems, and we look forward to do further work using the poems during the school season.

The Urdd’s Birthday - Breaking the world record!

Congratulations to year 7 and 8 pupils who were part on the Urdd’s attempt to break the world record. The world record was broken for the number of people uploading the same song to social media within a given time. Hey Mr Urdd- Happy 100th Birthday! We hope now, that we can start preparing to compete in the 2022 National Eisteddfod.

Mabon ap Gwynfor’s visit

It was a pleasure to welcome Elin Hywel, Mabon ap Gwynfor and Aaron Wynne to the school on Friday morning, 28th January. Representatives of the school’s Senedd had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues that are important to them.
